DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Football team has accepted an invitation to play in the 46th annual Trust & Will Holiday Bowl in an announcement on Sunday.

The Mustangs will face Big 12 opponent Arizona in the game, scheduled to be played on January 2 at 7 pm CT at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego and air on Fox.

The selection marks the seventh straight season that SMU played in the postseason, the longest streak in program history.

Coming off an 8-4 regular season, the Mustangs look to record their third straight season with at least nine wins, which would tie the longest streak in school history.
