GOLF, Ill. (SMU) - SMU women's golf finished in third place at the Windy City Classic from Glen View Golf Club.
"A solid team showing this week — a total group effort to finish at the top of the leaderboard after a couple of weeks off following our return from Japan." said fifth-year head coach Lauren Mason.Â
"We had a slow start out of the gate this morning battling last year's reigning NCAA Champions/Tournament hosts but in the end we just didn't have enough to get it done this week."
"I know we have a great team with a lot of depth, and I expect we'll be near the top of leaderboards often this season," added Mason. "It was great to show some of that depth this week across all players! A few things to tidy up over the next few days before we're back in Chicago this weekend."
