NOTABLE RESULTS
In a time trial for the 200 medley relay, the squad of Thad Austin, Trey Clervi, Nico Sobenes and Sage Sungail marked a new school record, touching the wall in 1:24.21. The team bested the record of 1:24.35 set in 2024 by Sungail. along with Jack Berube, Joe Rusnock and Russell Exum.Â
Freshman Francis Brennan broke his own record of 1:32.31 in the 200 free that he set at the 2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships. The Ontario native threw down a time of 1:32.13 in the final time trial of the meet. Brennan earned an NCAA Standard in the 200 free when he set the record on Feb. 17.
On the second day of competition, freshman Trey Clervi recorded a time of 52.83 in the 100 breast. The performance places him in ninth on SMU's All-Time Top Performers List.

The Mustangs will return to the Robson & Lindley Aquatics to host the SMU Men's Last Chance Meet on March 5-7 at 10 a.m. CT (Prelims) and 6 p.m. CT (Finals).
