COLLEGE STATION, Texas (SMU) – SMU All-American diver Luke Sitz finished first on 3-meter at the 2026 NCAA DI Zone D Diving Championships on Monday, punching his ticket to compete at the NCAA DI Swimming & Diving Championships on March 25-28.
Sitz recorded a cumulative mark of 847.70 throughout preliminaries and finals, averaging a score of 71.08 per dive. His performance was highlighted by a Reverse 3 1/2 Somersault Tuck, earning him a score of 85.75.
Freshmen RJ Snyder and Grant Cates each made their way to the finals in their NCAA debut. Cates finished 11th overall after posting a score of 702.65 after 12 dives. Snyder threw down a mark of 621.30 to place 16th overall.
