Former Mustang Madison Scheer Signs Pro Contract in Germany

NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA, Germany (SMU) - Former Mustangs volleyball player Madison Scheer has signed to play professionally for USC MÜNSTER in Germany, the organization announced on Friday. Â
Scheer joined SMU for her final season of collegiate volleyball in 2025, where she played a vital role in the Mustangs' first-ever NCAA Regional Semifinal run. Â
The 6-1 outside hitter played in 27 matches for the Mustangs, registering 150 kills and averaging 2.03 kills per set, while hitting .265. Scheer had a season-best 12 kills with a .524 hitting percentage in the four-set victory at No. 5 Stanford on Nov. 16. Â
Scheer played the first three seasons of her career at Auburn, where she collected 1,098 kills and was an All-South Region performer as a sophomore. The Eureka, Mo. native, finishing her career with 1,248 kills, 191 digs and 193 blocks.
