DALLAS – SMU Football announced Wednesday that the 2027 meeting between the two programs at AT&T Stadium has been moved up one week.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2027, the game will now be played on September 4.

The contest marks the first time in more than 40 years the Mustangs will play at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

SMU has a storied history playing at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Mustangs began playing select games at Texas Stadium in 1972 and played all home games there from 1979 to 1986. During that span, SMU recorded four 10-win seasons and posted winning records in seven of eight years.

Ticket information and kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
