DALLAS (SMU) – As part of its seven-game home slate, SMU Football announces its full schedule of promotions, color themes and fan giveaways for the 2026 season.

Fans are encouraged to wear white to Ford Stadium for the Sept. 12 home opener against UC Davis. The first 2,000 SMU students in attendance will receive K7NG of Dallas crowns in support of Kevin Jennings' Heisman Trophy campaign, while the first 5,000 fans will receive Kevin Jennings "K7" temporary tattoos.

SMU will celebrate Family Weekend on Sept. 26 when the Mustangs host Missouri State at Ford Stadium, beginning a stretch of four consecutive home games. 

The homestand continues on Oct. 3 with the Mustangs' ACC home opener against Boston College, where the first 2,000 students through the gates will take home a Blue Blood New Blood fanny pack bucket hat.

SMU will celebrate Salute to Service and its Hall of Fame Game with a Stripe Out on Oct. 17 when the Mustangs host Virginia at Ford Stadium. One week later, SMU will host Fan Appreciation Day when Cal visits the Hilltop on Oct. 24. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will take home an exclusive SMU stitch link hat, with additional activations and in-game elements throughout the game celebrating Mustang fans.
 
SMU will pay homage to one of college football's most unique turnover celebrations on Nov. 6 with Club Takeaway Night, when Virginia Tech visits the Hilltop for a Friday night ACC fight. The first 5,000 students through the gates will receive light-up sticks inspired by the Club Takeaway sign thrown up after every turnover forced by the SMU defense.

SMU's final home contest is a Homecoming showdown against Wake Forest on Nov. 14, which will also serve as Senior Day. The Mustangs will honor one of the most decorated senior classes in SMU Football history, a group that has helped usher in a new era of success on the Hilltop.
