CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (SMU) – SMU Men's Tennis is set to open its fall season at the Chowderfest tournament at Harvard, Friday to Sunday.

Newcomers Sasa Markovic and Luis Flores will head to the East Coast for the tournament and are set to make their debuts as Mustangs.

Markovic and Flores will kick off the tournament as a doubles pair, playing a Dartmouth duo. They will then move on to the singles bracket, where Markovic will take on Yale's Jim Ji, and Flores will face Virginia Tech's Gevorg Mnatsakanyan.

The Mustangs look to begin a new season following their fourth NCAA Championship appearance in five years last season, in which they reached the second round for the first time under Grant Chen. Last fall, Trevor Svajda finished the fall season as the NCAA Singles Championship runner-up.
