DALLAS (AP/SMU) – The SMU Football Team jumped up one spot on Sunday in the latest edition of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
The Mustangs have been ranked every week in the poll during the 2026 season.Â

SMU is coming off a 34-24 win over Missouri State on Saturday at Ford Stadium, which featured the offense going for a season-high 592 yards of total offense and the defense recording seven sacks.

Kevin Jennings continued to rewrite the program record book in the victory, setting new program records for career passing yards, career completions and touchdowns responsible for. He finished the game 33-for-39 for a career-high 464 yards passing and four total touchdowns.Â
SMU also came in at No. 19 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
