2018 (JR): Recorded 604 digs, seventh in a season at SMU, becoming just the second player in program history to eclipse 600 in a season multiple times…Averaged 5.49 digs per set, second in program history…Finished with 38 digs at Tulsa (11/9), tied for third in a match at SMU…Had at least 20 digs in 15 of 28 matches…Had at least 30 digs twice, finishing with 30 against Wichita State (10/19).

2017 (SO): Led the Mustangs with 609 digs, becoming the fourth player in program history to eclipse 600 digs in a season…5.03 digs per set ranks fifth in a season at SMU…Ranked third in The American in digs and fourth in digs per set…Recorded a career-high 38 digs at Houston (11/3), tied for third in a match at SMU…Also had 31 digs at Texas State (9/8)…Finished with at least 20 digs in 14 matches…Scored 15 service aces and had 98 assists…Named conference Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 6.

2016 (FR): Saw action in all 34 matches, recording 288 digs in 119 sets as a defensive specialist…Reached double digits 10 times with a season-high 16 digs in a 3-0 win at Tulsa (11/16)…Scored 17 aces and a back-row kill…Finished with nine digs against National Runner-Up Texas in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Montana Watts was named a TGCA All-State selection as a senior after leading Boyd to a 26-win season. She had 526 digs in 72 sets during her final prep campaign. Watts was a Max Preps High School All-America Third Team honoree as a senior, and was named a high school All-America award winner as a junior by Prepvolleyball.com. Watts earned Academic All-State accolades as a senior, and was named District Player of the Year three times.
