Freshman (2012 at Laney CC): Threw for close to 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns... Ran for 250 yards and three more TDs.

Prep: Chosen the QB MVP of Schuman[apos]s National Underclassmen Combine Regional in Los Angeles, winning an invitation to the national camp in Oklahoma... Played at Central Catholic HS in Portland as a junior and transferred to Lake Oswego HS for his senior season... Led Lake Oswego deep into the playoffs, completing almost 60 percent of his passes for over 1,700 yards and 16 touchdowns with just four interceptions.
