2008: Redshirted.

Prep: Three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Santa Margarita Catholic... Named second-team All-Trinity League as a senior... Named a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Academic Scholar.

Personal: Plans to major in business... Chose SMU over San Diego, Chapman (Calif.) and Arizona... Parents are Mark Haness and Shawna Dakites.
