Prep: Graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School in 2013 ... A unanimous first-team All-District honoree as he led his team to the playoffs in its first year at the 5A level ... Threw for 1,931 passing yards and 15 touchdowns as he was 171-for-263 with six interceptions ... Also ran for 500 yards and five touchdowns.
