Blake Brockermeyer joined the Mustang staff in April of 2018 and serves as a defensive quality control analyst.
Brockermeyer came to the Hilltop after serving in various roles at All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas, for 12 seasons, where he was part of five State Championship teams.
Brockermeyer played offensive tackle for nine seasons in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos, starting a total of 105 games. He played his collegiate ball at the University of Texas from 1991-94, starting all 34 games before early enrolling as a junior and becoming a first-round pick of the expansion Carolina Panthers in 1995.
While at Texas, Brockermeyer was a two-time All-Southwest Conference selection and an All-American in 1994. In 2013, he was named Legend of the Sun Bowl, and in 2015 he was inducted into the UT Hall of Honor.
Brockermeyer graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth in 1991 where he was an All-State and All-American selection.
He married his wife Kristy in 1996 and the couple has four boys, Jack, Luke, Tommy and James.
