Ryan Ragone enters his first season on the Hilltop in 2026, serving as an assistant linebackers coach.

Ragone helped with the Mustangs in 2025, assisting with the linebackers unit.

Prior to joining the Mustangs, Ragone spent a year coaching at Griffin Middle School and The Colony High School (The Colony,TX).

Ragone was a five-year letterwinner at The University of Miami (2019-23), Ragone appeared in 35 games. He registered 37 tackles, including 7.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. He spent his freshman season playing at Arkansas State.

Ragone earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Miami (2022) & earned his Masters Degree in Liberal Studies (2023)

A native of Houston, Texas, Ragone attended Pasadena Memorial High School.
