Prep: Holds records at Kaufman High School for single-game receptions (10), single-season receptions (45) and receiving yards (777) and career receptions (99) and receiving yards (1,560)… A first-team all-district selection at wide receiver as a junior and senior… First-team all-district as a defensive back as a senior… Kaufman MVP (senior) and team captain (junior/senior)… Also lettered in basketball… Was an All-State and all-region selection as a senior... Surpassed 1,500 points, 1,000 rebounds and 250 assists during his career… Helped the team to two straight regional semifinal appearances in basketball… One of 49 players nominated in the southwest for the McDonald’s High School All-American game… Qualified for the UIL State Meet in the triple jump.
