Freshman (2017): Played 12 games, starting six… Blocked for an offense that ranked 12th nationally in scoring offense (37.8), 15th in total offense (478.5) and 19th in passing offense (294.1).

Prep: A three-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals... Helped lead Katy High School to the UIL Class 6A Division I Region III semifinals and a 10-3 record in 2016... First-Team All-Greater Houston (2015 & 2016)... Chose SMU over Army, California, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, Kansas, Memphis, Nebraska, UNLV, Wake Forest and others.
