Prep: A three-star prospect... Named one of "Texas' Best" 2016 Defensive Linemen by Dave Campbell's Texas Football Rising... Named to Team USA for 2016 International Bowl... Rated as the No. 12 DT in the Midlands by Scout... Notched 68 tackles, 21 tackles for-loss, 11 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, four PBUs and 17 QBH in 2015... Had 43 tackles and 9.5 sacks as a junior... Played for Dave Henigan at Ryan... Chose SMU over offers from Boise State, Colorado State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Missouri, Nevada, Tulsa and others... Also lettered in track, reaching the regional finals in the shot... Also threw the discus... Recruited by Jess Loepp and Buddy Wyatt.
