Prep: A three-star prospect by the recruiting services … 247 Composite listed him as the No. 101 cornerback in the class, the No. 163 player from Texas and No. 1,138 player nationally … 247 Sports listed him as the No. 86 player in the class and No. 134 player from Texas … On3 Sports ranked him the No. 78 cornerback in the class and No. 123 player from Texas … ESPN ranked him the No. 190 player from Texas, the No. 78 safety in the class and No. 259 player from the region … Played three years of varsity at Little Elm for coach Kendall Brown … As a senior, Little Elm won more games than his sophomore and junior years combined and he had four interceptions, eight pass breakups, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and four touchdown saving tackles … Junior season he was named second-team All-District in 6A-Region 1 when he had 10 pass breakups, an interception, five tackles for loss, a quarterback hurry and touchdown saving tackle … As a sophomore, he was named second-team all-District when he had 33 tackles, five pass breakups and one tackle for loss.
