Alex Howarth joined the SMU football staff in the Summer of 2024 and serves as the Graduate Assistant for Football Video Services.
Howarth arrived on the Hilltop after a season at Northern Illinois University, where he served as the Graduate Assistant for Football Video Operations. Prior to that, he served as the Special Teams Graduate Assistant at Ouachita Baptist University for the Spring of 2023.
A graduate of Mississippi College, Howarth earned his Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in December of 2022, while serving as a Student Assistant for the football program for four seasons.
Howarth is pursuing Master’s in Liberal Studies from SMU.
