Baylee Bennett enters her third season with SMU Football in 2025 and serves as the Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting after spending the previous two seasons as a Recruiting Graduate Assistant.
In her current role, Bennett oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all on-campus recruiting operations, including official and unofficial visits, gameday experiences, and special recruiting events. She works closely with coaching staff, campus partners, and recruiting personnel to ensure a seamless and impactful visit experience for prospective student-athletes and their families.
As a Recruiting Graduate Assistant, Bennett played a key role in managing visit logistics, coordinating communication, organizing recruiting calendars, and assisting with major on-campus events, helping lay the foundation for SMU’s recruiting operations.
Bennett came to the Hilltop from Oklahoma, where she spent four seasons as a recruiting specialist for the Sooners. During her time in Norman, Oklahoma secured four top-10 consensus recruiting classes as ranked by multiple national publications.
She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Business & Marketing from Oklahoma in 2023 and later completed her Master of Science in Management from SMU’s Cox School of Business.
