Lauryn Kita joined the SMU football staff in the summer of 2026 and serves as the Graduate Assistant for Football Video Services.
Kita arrived at the Hilltop after a season with the Los Angeles Chargers, where she served as a Seasonal Video Intern. She also served as a Training Camp Video Intern with the Chargers (2024). In addition, she worked as a Student Assistant for Football Video Services at the University of South Carolina (2022-2025).
Kita earned a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management with a minor in Sports Media from the University of South Carolina in 2025 and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Sport Management from SMU.
