Junior (2009): Made an impact in his first season on the Hilltop... Had a team-high 11 pass breakups on the year... Added 35 tackles on the season... Played in 11 games, starting 10... Missed the final two games of the regular season with a knee injury, but recovered in time for SMU[apos]s Hawaii Bowl win, starting and notching seven stops against Nevada... Also added seven tackles in SMU[apos]s win at UAB, as the Mustangs snapped a 17-game Conference USA losing streak and a 15-game road losing streak... Recovered a fumble in the end zone for a TD against Navy. Freshman & Sophomore (2007 & 2008 at Laney): A two-star Rivals.com prospect... A California All-JUCO pick... Played in 10 games as a freshman, finishing the season with 30 tackles, five interceptions, nine pass breakups and one forced fumble... Had offers from Cal Poly-SLO, Hofstra, Sacramento State, Massachusetts and Eastern Michigan.
