2024 (Freshman at Texas Tech): Redshirt season … scout team member … appeared in two games as a true freshman against North Texas (9/14) and Baylor (10/19) … praised for his development coming out of preseason camp in an experienced tight end room.

High School: Attended South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas … part of one of top football programs in the state his final two seasons as the Golden Bears were the Class 5A Division II state champions in 2022 and then the state runner-up his senior season in 2023 … primarily played wide receiver at the high school level before joining the Red Raiders’ tight ends room … averaged more than 20 yards per catch as a senior, finishing with 24 receptions for 505 yards and 10 touchdowns through the air … named to the All-District 6-5A first team as a junior and a senior … was on the receiving end of a 15-yard touchdown strike in the state title victory, cutting South Oak Cliff’s deficit to only 17-12 heading into the half … catch was later showcased on ESPN as part of its “You Got Moss’d” segment … was one of six receptions for 63 yards on the season, which all went for touchdowns.
