Prep: A three-star recruit by 247Sports... Led Friendswood to the UIL Class 6A Division II Region III semifinals in 2016... Finished his career as Friendswood’s all-time leading rusher and the program’s career scoring leader... Finished career with 74 rushing touchdowns, 30 passing touchdowns and three receiving TDs... Named District 24-6A Offensive MVP in 2015 and District 24-6A MVP in 2016... Was named Chevy Player of the Year in Houston in 2016… Threw for 1,165 yards with 12 touchdowns and ran for 2,093 yards with 24 touchdowns as a junior... As a senior, he threw for 1,625 yards with 17 touchdowns and ran for 2,092 yards with 31 touchdowns... Chose SMU over Air Force and Virginia.
