Biography
PERSONAL: Kirra St-Laurent hails from Papeete, French Polynesia and joined the Mustang roster in the spring of 2026. She has lived all over the world including Australia, France and Switzerland.

CHOOSING SMU: St-Laurent chose SMU because she had a great connection with the coaches from the start and absolutely loved the facilities. She can see herself thriving at SMU.

PREP: Attended Robina State High School (2020-22) and Brisbane School of Distance Education (2023-25). Was named Sports Girls Team of the Year in 2022 and High School Player of the Year in 2022 as well.
St-Laurent was coached by Richard Woodhouse and claims Gold de Biarritz Le Phare as he home course. She was a part of the French National Team and has multiple French Team selections. Kirra finished second in the Italian International Women’s Amateur Championship. She won the Gaveau Trophy at the French Women’s Championship (stroke play). She finished sixth at the European Young Masters and was a team winner with team France at the same event.

She placed ninth a the Swiss International Championship in 2023, third at the Queensland Junior Championship U-18 in 2022, 21st at the Australian Amateur 2023. She was named Queensland Junior Player of the Year in 2016. Her other top finished include fifth at the Italian International Women’s Amateur Championship, third at the Irish Women’s Open (stroke play), 12th at the Annika Invitational Europe, third in the 2024 French National Women’s Championship (match play). She was named 2021 High School Player of the Year and won a state championship for Aquitaine in 2024. St-Laurent made the cut at her first pro tournament in 2023.

OTHER ATHLETICS: She also lettered in swimming and was a 2-time school swimming champion.
