Mustangs Wrap Up Preparations for San Jose State

Dallas, Texas -- The SMU football team concluded preparations for Saturday's home game with San Jose State afternoon with a 90-minute workout in shorts at the SMU practice fields.
"We have had a good week of work," said Mustang head coach Mike Cavan. "They are tough to prepare for and have an outstanding offense. We have done what we can on the practice field and now it is time to execute."
SMU walked through its game plan on both offense and defense with the first and second teams going against the scout teams. Special teams also walked through its alignments and kicking drills during the 90-minute session.
Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for 6:00 p.m. CST. Tickets for the game are still available by contacting the SMU ticket office at 214-SMU-GAME. The game will not be televised.
