On the San Jose State Game
"It was a big boost for our team to get a win."
"The offense went out there and controlled the ball and made things happen."
"Defensively, we were improving, but we didn't play as good as we did in the past."
On UTEP
"UTEP is a team that is about 50/50 run and pass on offense. They play a lot of power football."
"They like to run play action off of their run to balance out the attack."
"(Lee) Mays is a great athlete at wide receiver. They like to run screens to him, which hurt us last year out there."
"Defensively, they gone to a different look with a new defensive coordinator."
"For us, I think (Kevin) Garrett and (Jonas) Rutledge have improved off of last year and we are going into the game thinking they can stop him (Mays) from hurting us."
"This week, Jarrian James and Vic Viloria are both back, and should be at full speed Saturday."
"(Ruben) Moodley has been making cuts in practice, and looks good. Shane O'Neill should be ready to go as well Saturday."
"On offensive, Keylon Kincade is back and practicing at full speed and should be ready to go."
"We've been having some great practices with good intensity this week."
