Looking Back At La. Tech
"As a team and a staff, we're very disappointed. We just made too many mistakes to win a football game."
"I did like, however, that we played hard and never gave up. Things just did not go right for us.""
"I thought our defense did a good job of adjusting after the first quarter, and I have no doubt that they will be a strength for us the rest of the season."
"We just made some crucial errors - the fumble on the opening drive and the roughing the punter call come to mind - at critical times.
"We just have to get better and overcome those type of things."
On Preparing For TCU
"I think we could play TCU any time, anywhere, and it would be big for us. It's always been a big game for our team and coaches, too. It means a lot. You have to live with whatever happens for a whole year. I know we're really looking forward to it."
On TCU
"TCU has a very good defense. They led the nation in defense a year ago, and it's been their backbone for the past few seasons."
"They have some big, strong guys up front. And like I've said before, if you can get pressure with your front four, you can do a lot of things with the other guys. That really gives you an opportunity to be an outstanding defensive team."
"They have a good back and receiver and Casey Printers is one of the best quarterbacks out there. They're a very solid football team."
On The Game
"This (Ford Stadium) is our home. It's very special to us. Saturday we're going to strap it on and defend our home."
