WAYZATA, Minn. (SMU) - SMU senior Colt Knost holds a four-stroke lead after two rounds of the Gopher Invitational at Spring Hill Golf Club. Knost, who fired rounds of 71 and 67 to stand at 138, leads two golfers tied at 142.

As a team, SMU is tied for second place at 592. The host Minnesota Gophers lead Stanford and SMU by two shots heading into tomorrow's final round at the par 72, 7,042-yard Spring Hill layout.

Brandon DeStefano also stands in the top 10, carding 72-74-146 to tie for sixth. Other SMU scores are James Minahan (76-78-154-T33), Arwed Fischer (79-76-155-T38) and Scott Sikes (79-77-156-T44).
