COLUMBUS, Ohio (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team battled rough weather to stand in 13th place at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at the par 71, 7,454-yard OSU Scarlet Course.

The 16-team field - which includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Marshall, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Ohio, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina and Wisconsin - had play halted during the second round due to the inclement weather. The teams will resume play Sunday morning.

SMU's Colt Knost is tied for 10th individually at 73 and is three shots off the lead. Scott Barton is in 52nd at 80, Scott Sikes is in 59th at 81 and Brandon DeStefano and Frank Wrenn are tied for 76th at 83.
