COLUMBUS, Ohio (SMU) - Bad weather cancelled the final round of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at the par 71, 7,454-yard OSU Scarlet Course on Sunday and SMU's Colt Knost finished tied for seventh based on the 36-hole standings. Knost (150) fired rounds of 73 and 77 to finish eight strokes back of medalist Matt Harmon of Michigan State (142). As a team, SMU finished 15th in the 16-team event after posting a 317-324-641.
In addition to Knost, only one other Mustang, Brandon DeStefano, broke 80 over the final 18. DeStefano tied for 61st at 83-79-162. Scott Sikes tied for 70th at 81-83-164, Scott Barton tied for 75th at 80-85-185 and Frank Wrenn was 86th at 83-87-170.
