Seventh-Annual WHITEOUT Set For Sept. 4

DALLAS (SMU) - For the seventh consecutive season, SMU Athletics is calling for a "WHITEOUT" for its home opener, and is asking fans attending the game to wear white on Friday, Sept. 4, to show support for the Mustangs when they take on the No. 4 Baylor Bears at 6 p.m. at Ford Stadium.
"The WHITEOUT is wildly popular with our students," said Brad Sutton, SMU's Sr. Associate A.D for Public Relations & Marketing. "It's become a great tradition here on campus, and we are asking all our fans to join in and show unified support for the Mustangs."
To add to the great visual effect, SMU will be distributing 1,000 white visors to Mustang fans.
