The SMU women's golf team competes in The Bruzzy hosted by North Texas starting on Monday.
The 54-hole tournament will take place over the course of two days on the 72-par Lantana Golf Course. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and the remaining 18 on Tuesday, with players teeing off at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start on both days.
Representing SMU: Lauren Chappell, Brigitte Dunne, Kennedy Pedigo, Ana Paula Ramirez abd Sophie DiGesualdo. Serena Shah and Faith Summers will compete individually.
The Field: The Mustangs are up against 14 teams that are all ranked in the top 100 in the latest edition of Golfstat rankings. The teams participating include: No.2 Texas, No.19 TCU, No.20 Miami, No.28 Houston, No. 35 Baylor, No.37 Iowa, No.41 Ole Miss, No.43 Texas Tech, No.52 Maryland, No.53 Texas A&M, No.60 SMU, No.66 Missouri, No.84 BYU, No.85 North Texas, No.87 Kansas State.
