CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (SMU) – The SMU women's golf team wrapped up the second round of action at the Tar Heel Invite Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Ashley Chow climbed six spots on the leaderboard after the first round with a second-round even par. She is 1-over for the tournament and tied for 33rd to lead the Mustangs.
Serena Shah has stayed consistent at the event, signing for her second 1-over and sitting tied for 45th at 2-over 146.
Maddi Olson improved four strokes from her day one scorecard, firing an even-par 72 on Saturday. The score propelled her 13 spots up the individual leaderboard.
Katie James went 5-over in the second round and is currently in 78th, while Kennedy Pedigo is 11-over.
The Mustangs are currently in 17th at 15-over after going +6 on the second 18.
Wake Forest has taken over the lead at -16 with Virginia Tech second at -12. Clemson is third at -11.
