DALLAS – Returning from their four-match road trip, the Mustangs took on Oklahoma State today at home. Sophomore Liam Krall put together a very strong straight set victory, but the Mustangs fell 6-1 in the overall match.

Oklahoma State's No. 1 doubles team started the match off with a victory over Adam Neff and Ivan Thamma 6-3. The Mustangs responded as Huntley Allen and Julian Steinhausen won their match at the No. 3 spot 6-3 to level the contest. Court No. 3 decided the doubles point in a tiebreak which fell the way of the Cowboys. Liam Krall and Pranav Kumar lost 7-6 after the 7-4 tiebreak.

Krall quickly answered back for the Mustangs, winning in dominant fashion 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. He improved his dual record to 9-2 on the season.

The Cowboys once against took the lead with a 6-4, 6-4 win on the No. 1 line.

After losing the first set 5-7, Caleb Chakravarthi battled back to win the second 6-0. The senior could not quite close out the match, as he fell 6-3 in the third. The Cowboys pulled ahead in the match 3-1, within one victory of closing it out.

Oklahoma State finished off the match, winning 4-6, 7-5 on court No. 5. They also added three-set wins on courts No. 6 and No. 4 to close out a 6-1 victory.

Win Streaks
Julian Steinhausen and Huntley Allen have won three straight doubles matches and are 3-1 in dual play this season.

The Mustangs are back in action on Sunday, March 13^th, as they travel to San Antonio to take on UTSA at 10:00 a.m.
