DALLAS – Behind sophomore standout
Adam Neff, SMU defeated Temple 4-0 today in Dallas. The Mustangs improve to 13-6, 7-4 at home. They have won three out of their last four and remain unbeaten in conference play.

th ranked doubles pairing of Neff and
Ivan Thamma got the match off to a strong start, cruising to a decisive 6-3 win on the top line. Temple quickly answered back with a victory on court two, 6-4.

For the second straight match, the doubles point would come down to
Huntley Allen and
Julian Steinhausen on court three. After being broken and falling behind 3-5, SMU's duo locked in to win the next three games. Temple tied the match at 6-6 to force a tiebreak. SMU fell behind 2-3, but went on to win the next five points to win the tiebreak 7-3 and close out the match.

Neff dominated at the top singles line, winning his match 6-2, 6-3 to push SMU's lead to 2-0. This was the sophomore's sixth straight set victory of the season and eighth overall.

Playing on the No. 5 line,
Julian Steinhausen cruised to a 6-2 first set victory. He took an early lead in the second before his opponent responded, tying the set at 5-5. Steinhausen won on his serve before breaking his opposition to win the set 7-5 and secure his third straight singles victory.

Playing in just his second No. 3 match,
Pranav Kumar would close out the win for the Mustangs. The grad-senior won 6-3 in the first set. Similar to court five, Kumar faced a resilient opponent who battled off a match point in the second and forced a tiebreak. Kumar pulled away in the tiebreak, winning 7-1 to close out the 4-0 sweep for SMU.

Julian Steinhausen have won seven of their eight finished doubles matches. They are 8-2 in dual play this season.

Liam Krall is on a two-match winning streak. The former AAC Freshman of the Year is 12-3 in singles dual matches this season.
