400 IM
In the consolation heat, freshman Andy Baklanov touched the wall in 3:51.45, earning the heat's second-fastest time and the fourth-fastest time overall. Kristaps Mikelsons finished fifth in his heat with a time of 4:01.05

200 Free
Freshman Francis Brennan placed third in the 200 free with a time of 1:35.14. Captain Jack Forrest finished fourth in 1:37.10 in a consolation heat.

50 Free
Captain Sage Sungail finished fourth in the 50 free, throwing down a time of 19.94. Sophomore Benjamin Chateigner touched the wall in 20.25 to finish fourth in the consolation heat.

1-Meter Diving
Sophomore Luke Sitz earned his second straight win on 1-meter, earning a score of 389.10.

100 Fly
Sophomore Ben Longeway placed fifth in the 100 fly after earning a time of 49.24. Francis Brennan nabbed fourth in the consolation heat by finishing in 49.60.

100 Back
Jack Berube placed fourth in the 100 back after recording a time of 47.22. Andy Baklanov finished fourth in the consolation heat with a time of 49.49.

100 Breast
Kristaps Mikelsons earned fourth place in the 100 breast. The Latvia native touched the wall in 54.80. In the consolation heat, Ben Longeway finished third with a time of 56.17.

800 Free Relay
The squad of Francis Brennan, Benjamin Chateigner, Jack Forrest and Sage Sungail finished third in the 800 free relay, touching the wall in 6:25.10.

The Mustangs will host the second night of the SMU Classic Saturday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. SMU will continue to battle LSU, Auburn, and ACC rival Louisville.
