BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION (SMU) — The Mustangs placed fourth in the largest field of the season at the Arturo Barrios Invite in College Station with Rose Mburu leading the charge. 

Mburu placed fourth with a time of 19:24.9. She ran a consistent race, moving up in placement through each split. 

Correia Carolina crossed the finish line just a minute later, running 20:24.6 for 27th. Sophia Keditukei placed 38th with 20:41.5. Macey Hilton ran the 6k in 21:03.6 for 55th. Ellie Grammas placed 68th, and Lena Suchowolak placed 83rd. 

The team scored 185 points. 38 teams competed with over 300 athletes racing. 

SMU will be back in action on October 31st in Louisville for the ACC Championship.
