200 Medley Relay
The squad of Jack Berube, Kristaps Mikelsons, Sage Sungail and Benjamin Chateigner earned second place with a time of 1:26.93.
The team of Thad Austin, Trey Clervi, Nico Sobenes and Harold Lockhart nabbed fourth after touching the wall in 1:28.16. In an exhibition, Andy Baklanov, Ben Longeway, Aidan Arie and Cameron Thompson recorded a time of 1:31.35.
500 Free
Captain Jack Forrest nabbed third place in the 500 free, posting a time of 4:25.33. Leo Pelaez followed behind, throwing down a time of 4:26.45. After Pelaez, Aubrey Jaya finished fifth with a time of 4:28.98. In an exhibition, Mark Van Eybergen earned a time of 4:30.30 and Zach Power recorded 4:42.15.
50 Free
Captain Sage Sungail scored points for the Mustangs, nabbing third in the 50 free with a time of 19.98. Harold Lockhart threw down a time of 20.41, claiming fifth. Freshman George Gonzalez recorded a time of 20.73. In an exhibition, Cameron Thompson and Eli Likins posted 21.04 and 20.69, respectively.
200 Back
Jack Berube earned the first win of the day for SMU, throwing down a time of 1:43.07 in the 200 back. Andy Baklanov followed closely behind, placing second with a time of 1:43.32. Asher Good scored points for the Mustangs, earning fourth with a time of 1:46.50. In an exhibition, Thad Austin finished in 1:50.94.
200 Breast
Joe Umhofer claimed the third fastest time of 1:59.73 in the 200 breast. Kristaps Mikelsons came in fourth with a time of 200.69 and Ewan Lonergan finished with a time of 2:06.65. In an exhibition, Trey Clervi touched the wall in 2:08.05.
100 Fly
Nico Sobenes threw down a time of 48.48 to finish fourth. Ryan Peckham recorded a time of 48.87 and Ben Longeway posted a 49.75. In an exhibition, freshmen Aidan Arie and Zach Power touched the wall in 49.98 and 50.39, respectively.
200 Free
Freshman Francis Brennan claimed the win in the 200 free, throwing down a time of 1:36.73. Aubrey Jaya nabbed third place after finishing in 1:38.72. Jack Moore recorded a time of 1:39.21. In an exhibition, Jack Forrest posted a 1:39.83.
400 IM
Andy Baklanov found the podium again, finishing second in the 400 IM with a time of 3:54.14. Leo Pelaez came in fifth with a time of 4:01.42. Asher Good finished the event in 4:06.69.
400 Free Relay
Taking the win in the final event of the meet, the team of Benjamin Chateigner, Harold Lockhart, Francis Brennan and Sage Sungail touched the wall in 2:54.06. The squad of George Gonzalez, Eli Likins, Thad Austin and Jack Berube nabbed third place, recording a time of 2:57.99. In an exhibition, Cameron Thompson, Kristaps Mikelsons, Aubrey Jaya and Jack Moore finished in 3:01.70.
1-Meter Diving
Luke Sitz swept the diving events, nabbing his second event win on 1-meter. The sophomore scored a mark of 359.03. Grant Cates finished fourth after scoring a 303.68 mark. RJ Snyder put up a score of 271.35 to finish sixth. In an exhibition, John Dymond earned a mark of 246.90
