ATLANTA (SMU) – SMU Men's Swimming and Diving concluded its final day of competition at the ACC Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday at the McAuley Aquatic Center, ending the meet with another shattered program record, a new NCAA standard and six updates to SMU's All-Time Top Performers List.
After the final day of competition, the Mustangs finished tenth with a team score of 407.

Junior
Jack Berube broke his own program record in the 200 back during preliminaries, touching the wall in 1:39.29. Earning a spot in the A finals, Berube finished seventh overall after logging a time of 1:41.27 in the final heat.
Freshman
Andy Baklanov earned a lane in the C finals after posting a time of 1:41.42 in a preliminary heat. Baklanov touched the wall in 1:42.18 in the finals to finish 22nd overall.
Francis Brennan recorded a time of 1:43.09 in a preliminary heat, earning a spot for himself on the All-Time Top Performers List. The freshman's performance puts him eighth on the list.

Thad Austin finished in 1:45.42, placing 38th overall.
100 Free
Both
Sage Sungail and
Eli Likins qualified for the C finals after their performances in the preliminary heats. Sungail secured an NCAA Standard in the preliminaries, earning a time of 42.42. The new PR put the senior at second on SMU's All-Time Top Performers List. In the finals, the Florida native finished 22nd overall with a time of 42.57.
Likins recorded a time of 42.67 in his preliminary heat, giving him a spot in the C finals. Likins finished in 42.68, placing right behind Sungail in 23rd.
In a preliminary heat, fifth-year
Harold Lockhart touched the wall in 43.09 to finish 34th overall.
George Gonzalez and
Jack Moore both competed in the event, posting times of 43.23 and 43.70, respectively. With his time, Gonzalez now ranks 10th on SMU's All-Time Top Performers List.
Benjamin Chateigner threw down a time of 44.07.
200 Breast
In a preliminary heat,
Kristaps Mikelsons recorded a time of 1:55.65 to qualify for the C finals. In his finals appearance, the junior finished in 1:55.45 to place 22nd overall.
Joe Umhofer posted a time of 2:00.23 in the preliminaries, finishing 41st overall. Freshman
Trey Clervi followed directly behind him with a time of 2:01.00.
1650 Free
Junior Leo Pelaez placed 16th in the 1650 free after touching the wall in 15:07.09. The performance put him sixth on SMU's All-Time Top Performers List. Additionally, his 1000 free split of 9:05.80 ranks fourth on the list for the event.
Mark Van Eybergen also swam the event, recording a time of 15:15.96 and ranking 23rd overall. Captain
Jack Forrest finished in 15:21.14 for a 28th-place finish, and freshman
Aubrey Jaya posted a time of 15:26.51 to earn 33rd.
400 Free Relay
The Mustang team of

Eli Likins,

Francis Brennan placed tenth after throwing down a time of 2:49.55.
