WILMINGTON, N.C. (SMU) – SMU women's golf holds a share of second place after two rounds of the 2026 ACC Women's Golf Championship.
"I'm really proud of the way our team competed today," said fifth-year head coach
Lauren Mason. "They showed great composure and resilience, especially when the conditions got challenging during our second 18. To put ourselves in second place heading into the final round of stroke play says a lot about this team's belief and preparation."
"We've given ourselves a great opportunity, but we know the job isn't finished," added Mason. "Tomorrow is about staying patient, trusting each other, and embracing the moment."
