DALLAS (SMU) –
Mackenzie Lee won the individual title and the Mustangs finished in second as a team at the Huntington Bank Collegiate on Tuesday at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
"Really proud of our team this week and the effort they showed both on and off the course," said fifth year head coach Lauren Mason. "With such a quick turnaround from the Augusta National Women's Amateur, it was especially impressive to see Mack capture the individual title in her final regular season event as a senior. It's been a long time coming, and witnessing it was truly special."
"We're excited for what lies ahead this postseason," added Mason. "It feels like the pieces are coming together at the right time, and I can't wait to see what this group accomplishes over the next month."Â
"Thank you to all of our supporters, fans, alumni and volunteers for making our home event one to remember," concluded Mason.
