Before SMU: Transfer from Missouri State University.
Prep: Graduated from high school with Magna Cum Laude and was in the National Honor Society... Finished third in singles at district... Coached by Sylvia McClure... Was team captain... Team was district Champions in 2000.
Personal: Son of Robert and Marcela Garza... Has two siblings... Majoring in biology while at SMU.
