2013 (Fr. at Brown): Appeared in 12 matches, starting one…scored his first career goal, a game-winner, in the Bears’ 2-1 win over Boston College…made his first in Brown’s season-opener against Bryant…totaled eight shots on the season, including six on frame.
Prep: A four-year member of the soccer team at Rossview High School, Long captained the team as a senior … A three-time All-Area and All-District selection, Long was also twice nominated for the Gatorade Player of the Year in Tennessee (2012 and 2013) … Helped to lead Rossview to the District 10-AAA Championship as a senior, earning District 10-AAA Offensive Player of the Year honors … Played club soccer most recently for Tennessee Soccer Club … Was a Region III ODP team member (2010-12) and a three-time inter-regional ODP Participant … Also a five-time State Champion with Tennessee Soccer Club.
