LIVE SCORING/RESULTS
DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team heads to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, for the two-day Dale McNamara Invitational hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Golf Club of Oklahoma.
The teams take to the par-72, 6,200-yard course for 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday. Both days will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and results will be available on Golfstat.com.
SMU will be represented by Kennedy Pedigo, Ashley Chow, Maddi Olson, Katie James and Serena Shah.
The 13-team field also includes BYU, Fresno State, Kansas State, Lamar, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, Texas State, UNLV, UTSA and Tulsa.
Pedigo has led the Mustangs in both tournaments this season, including tying for third to help SMU win the Badger Invitational to open the year. The finish was a career best after previously finishing fourth on two occasions, and was her seventh in the top 10 and third in the top five. The senior has had all six of her rounds count toward the team's scores this year, and has posted a pair of rounds at par-or-better on the young season.
The All-American Athletic Conference selection entered the season coming off a career-best 74.25 season scoring average in 2020-21.
Chow finished 20th at the season's opening event, a career best, and turned in the second-best performance for a Mustang in the last trip to Oklahoma.
Olson enters the lineup for the first time this season. As a freshman, Olson made three appearances, posting her best finish at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate.
At the Badger Invitational, James joined Pedigo in the top three, firing a 68 in the event's third round. It was a career-best finish for the junior and her first collegiate round in the 60s.
Shah tied for 14th at the Badger Invitational to give the Mustangs three players in the top 15. It was her sixth career top-25 finish.
