BOSTON, Mass. (SMU) — Day two of the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championship brought many exciting victories for the Mustangs. Cleo Martin-Evans became the first Mustang to earn All-ACC First Team honors in indoor track and field with her third-place finish in the long jump. She jumped 6.18 meters to get on the podium. 

Macey Hilton kicked off the track events and ran 4:36.43 to qualify for finals in seventh-place, lowering her school record in the process. She will compete in finals today at 11:10 (CST). She is also slated to compete in the 3,000 at 2:05 (CST).

Nea Sanders had an outstanding run in the 60-meter hurdles, which lowered her school record to 8.26 and put her through to finals in fourth-place. She will race again today at 11:50 (CST).

In the 400, Kirin Chacchia produced a personal best time of 54.22 — the fourth fastest time in program history. She placed 14th in the competition.

We will see Chacchia again today along with Haylie Donovan, Magnolia Crissup and Ariana Sutton in the 4x400 to end the championship meet.

Martin-Evans's placement added more points to the Mustang's board bringing them to 11 points and 10th place headed into the final day of competition.
