Brad Bradley has been a photographer for SMU Athletics since 1947, when he started taking SMU Football photos with his father-in-law, Jim Laughead. The World War II veteran has photographed every Cotton Bowl since 1948 and is the only photographer in the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame. In the summer of 2018, the College Football Hall of Fame had an exhibit dedicated to him and his photography. Bradley is also a photographer for the SMU Tate Lecture Series and SMU Athletic Forum. During his career, Bradley has covered more than 40 colleges and several NFL teams.
